♪Happy Birthday Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge!

August 27, 1964 is a tanjobi of Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge.

This year marks the 59th anniversary of the bridge.

I tried to make a birthday cake with my thoughts at Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge.

♪Cake recipe of Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge

Materials

Rectangular sponges
Whipped fresh cream
Powdered green tea
Chocolate pen

①Prepare a rectangular sponge. Make sure that the balance of the bridge length and width is about the same as Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge.
You can do anything like castella, wafers, bread, and of course hand-baked sponges. The photo uses a stick-type Baumkuchen.

②Mix powdered green tea with pre-wiped fresh cream. Adjust the amount of powdered green tea so that it becomes as green as Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge.

③Apply green fresh cream on the sponge.

④To finish, draw the eyes, mouth, and hands of Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge with a chocolate pen.

Now, it's done!

Please eat while thinking about Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge!

It was built for the Tokyo Olympics in 1964 (1964), following the passing of Tsukuda, which was said to be a remnant of the Edo atmosphere, which lasted 300 years since the Edo period.

It is a bridge built with cutting-edge technology at the time called the collective erection method.

It was built by Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Industries. It's a bridge full of local love.

Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge is a bridge closely related to the Tokyo Olympics, such as being lit up for the first time for the 2020 Games.

The view from the bridge is the best!

St. Luke Garden extending to the blue sky, high-rise apartments in Tsukuda River City, and the sunshine reflected in the windows, sparkling the river surface.…。

In the spring, Akashicho Riverside Park and the row of cherry blossom trees on the Tsukuda Green Road spread to the full view, and you will be surprised.

And a large cherry tree standing at the base of Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge.

I wonder if you've been looking at the former Pompon ship and the bustle of people.…I can't help but think about it.

Everyone, please walk along Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge!
