The fall of art
International Art Festival Tokyo Biennale 2023
The Tokyo Biennale 2023 Autumn Festival will be held until November 5th.
Art exhibitions and events are held in the four wards of central Tokyo, including Chuo-ku.
The Tokyo Biennale will be held for the second time.
The Tokyo Biennale is an international art festival held once every two years in the town of Tokyo, and is an art festival in which creators and artists from various fields deeply enter the town and create it together with local people. It is
The theme this time is to create a linkage connection.
Art exhibitions and events are held mainly in six areas in the four wards of Chuo-ku, Chiyoda-ku, Taito-ku, and Bunkyo-ku.
There are many projects and I can't introduce each one very much, so if you are interested, please try an online search at "Tokyo Biennale 2023". In Chuo-ku, there are two areas, "Higashinihombashi / Bakurocho" and "Nihonbashi / Yaesu / Kyobashi / Ginza".
We collect Not Lost TOKYO Tokyo in Higashiginza and make it a sample.
I saw the exhibition.
On the 1st floor of Ginza Shochiku Square Building, located between Higashiginza and Tsukiji, I saw one of the exhibits "Not Lost TOKYO". I don't usually pay much attention to art, but I went there because one of the exhibits was the Central Bank Capsule Tower 3D.
This is an art project that connects the city's record memory to the next generation by using words, photographs, 3D data, etc., with the subtitle "collecting Tokyo and making it a specimen."
The photo shows a memorable place in words, bottling it into a specimen. I was reminded of the buildings and landscapes that I don't have anymore.
The 3D video of the central bank capsule tower is amazing.
This is the 3D of the central bank capsule tower you are looking for. The central bank capsule tower was designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa and was a masterpiece of metabolism, but unfortunately it was dismantled in 2022. I often mention articles in this blog, and I've also made articles. I was interested in this 3D data because I was sorry that I had never been inside.
This is a cross section. You can change the position of the cross section every few meters.
You can also switch to a flat image for each floor.
I think it's a great progress to be able to record and save images in this way.
In addition, it seems that some of the actual capsules will be preserved and displayed somewhere.
Finally, autumn breeze-like things begin to blow and the heat seems to ease, so why not touch art a little? Just in October, there is also the Chuo-ku Tourism and Commerce Festival, so it's a good idea to go around together.
