Tsukiji Honganji Temple Visit Card for October 2023

　This month's worship card states, "Mida's oath is a reminder of the dawn long night."

　The meaning of that heart is written on the back of the card and is as follows:

"When I face difficulties that I can't do anything in my daily life, I feel like I'm alone in the dark darkness.　Right and left, I wander in the darkness of great anxiety that I don't even know where to go.　It is Amida who pledged not to abandon such me.　At any time, anywhere, and at any time, you can move forward because there is a great peace of mind that has a presence that illuminates and guides you the path you need to go."

　I have the opportunity to talk with my family and friends, live brightly, and I think it was good.

October issue of Tsukiji Honganji Shimpo Special Issue

　The special feature of this month's issue introduces Muneshi Kozui Otani and Shoyoen in Takao City, Taiwan.

Shoyoen is said to have received examples of preservation and maintenance of excellent cultural assets and the “National Cultural Assets Preservation Promotion” given to contributors from the Takao Municipal Government Culture Bureau.　

　I had an old friend in Takao City and attended his son's wedding, but I didn't know about Shoyoen.　I'd like to visit this time.
