"Ginza" How far is it?
Let's go around Ginza! ⑭
-Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park, Meiji Kaikan Ruins, Birthplace of Senshu University-
Remotely navigate the beloved Chuo-ku, rosemary sea.
"How far is Ginza? Let's go around Ginza!" This is the 14th series.
This time, we will introduce "Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park", "Meiji Kaido Ruins", and "The birthplace of Senshu University".
Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park
Somehow, it has been transformed into a stronger park color than last time.
In the former Tsukiji River basin, a park is built using the upper part of the expressway.
Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park is a municipal park beside the Shukubashi Bridge.
It's 1-11-13 Tsukiji.
Compared to "Tsukiji River Kameibashi Park" introduced at the end of the last time and "Tsukiji River Ginza Park" introduced later, it is a somewhat plain park, but I feel like there is a calm atmosphere.
So, as shown in the image, there are many people who work in the neighborhood where they have lunch here or take a break.
However, when the rose flowers bloom, it seems that the taste will change and become gorgeous only at that time.
The flowering of the rose is Jimini on May 16, 2016. ☆I would appreciate it if you could see Mr. Cricket's article, Rosmali, who was still a correspondent.

The site of Meiji Hall
In the article "Slightly worrisome Shrine in Chuo-ku 10-Hoju Inari Shrine-" on December 28, 2021, the ruins of the Meiji Kaikan have been introduced, but for the connection with the "birthplace of Senshu University" I will write it again.
Meiji Kaido is a speech venue built in 1881 by Yukichi Fukuzawa.
It is a two-story wooden building in tile roofing with a floor area of approximately 620 m2, and was designed by Hisakichi Fujimoto, a relative of Fukuzawa.
At that time, there were some facilities such as the Mita Speech Hall built by Fukuzawa, but in terms of scale, many speeches were held in rental seats, theaters, restaurants, etc., which were not originally speech venues. Was.
The Meiji Hall was built as a well-equipped speech venue for these alternative facilities.
In the explanatory text of the Nishiki-e "Meiji Kaido no Zu" on the left (in the explanatory board), "The hall of the venue was filled with 3,000 people, and there were 200 seats in the cafeteria. There is a lecture room and an office, and it will be the first hall of Tokyo's first hall without any difficulty. "
At the end of 1882, from the ownership of Fukuzawa to the hands of the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce, it was renamed the Koseikan in 1884, but after being paid to the private sector in 1890, Taisho 12 (1923) ) Was destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake.
