The Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony was launched in 2008 by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Arts Council Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, to disseminate Japanese traditional culture both domestically and internationally, and to pass on the underlying "heart of Japanese" to the next generation.                The sale of the same-day ticket has been revived for the first time in four years, and anyone can easily participate on the day. The spirit of the tea ceremony, which welcomes guests, is also familiar with the hospitality spirit of modern Japanese people, and at a quaint venue, various tea ceremony schools come together to a full-fledged tea ceremony (Ochiyaya in Nakajima).·Yoshiumetei), 4 tea ceremonies with an open atmosphere outdoors (Uchibori Square), high school student Nodo (Hanagien), and English (Hanagien Higashiya) are organized, so even beginners can enjoy it easily. In the vicinity of the gate, a traditional culture experience program called “Hanado Experience” is set up, and in the opposite direction of Meitei, performances such as “Dai-Kagura, Gagaku, Kirigami / Umbrellas” are being held as stage events.
