On Sunday, 22nd, the "Traffic Safety Golden Parade" was held on Chuo-dori in Ginza.

Leading white motorcycles and police cars, led by the Metropolitan Police Department Music Band, drum and flute squads of universities, elementary and junior high school students, baton twirling, etc. paraded. There were many foreign tourists who came along the road. The in-band also feels like it has recovered completely.

Speaking of the parade in Ginza, I remember that the "Sound and Light Parade" was once held until 1999. This was held at night, and it was a glittering parade of sound and light, with companies in Ginza participating and a series of elaborate cars and other products. It was just like a Disneyland parade. It was an event in the "Great Ginza Festival", but the Great Ginza Festival has continued in place of Autumn Ginza.

This parade began in 1972 with the parade of drum and flute corps, stuffed animals, Feudal lord's procession, etc. to commemorate the completion of national roads such as street lights, and is held every year as part of the Chuo-ku Tourism and Commerce Festival. The parade consists of two parts: the opening parade of local and public offices and the parade of countries where dances gathered from all over Japan dance, and the parade from Kyobashi to Nihonbashi.
