If you find yourself feeling anxious about the prospect of giving birth in Japan due to unfamiliarity with the culture and language, why not join the Foreign Pregnant Women Workshop (conducted in English) held at St. Luke International University in Tsukiji?
This event presents a valuable opportunity for foreign pregnant women to acquire a comprehensive understanding of various facets related to childbirth. The workshop will provide clear and concise explanations about the childbirth process, effective communication with hospitals, and postpartum bodily changes, navigating life with your baby, and the essential support from your partner.
This workshop will be hosted by the Japan Intercultural Intelligence, a non-profit organization.

This event is a great opportunity for foreign pregnant women to get a variety of information about childbirth with peace of mind. Understand and answer questions about childbirth processes, how to contact the hospital, changes in the body after childbirth, life with the baby, and support for partners.

- Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Participation Fee:
Single Participant: ¥500
Pair Discount: ¥800 (we recommend your partner’s participation)
- Target Audience: 15 pregnant women (in their 24th week of pregnancy or beyond), with partner participation encouraged
- Instructor: Prof. Yukari Igarashi, Ph.D., R.N., F.A.A.N. (Professor of Women’s Health and Midwifery, St. Luke International University).

- Target: 15 pregnant women after the 24th week of pregnancy (partner participation is recommended)
