Ginza Gas Lantern Street, from 4-chome to 1-chome
The first part I walked (4-chome to 3-chome)
  Ginza Gaslight Street ~

Remotely navigate the beloved Chuo-ku, rosemary sea.

Regarding Ginza, "How far is Ginza? Let's go around Ginza!" We are in progress in the series, but this time we walked from 4-chome to 1-chome on "Ginza Gaslight Street" next to "Chuo-dori".

This time, the first part, "4-chome to 3-chome".

In addition, there was an article introducing Ginza Gaslight Street once before.

January 14, 2021 As an explanation of the 25th Edo Classic Rakugo "Ounomatsu" in "Sea Shrine No.33-Eternal Inari Shrine-", which can be reached from Ningyocho Station.

Eternal Inari Shrine is not Ginza, but I explained there because of the Edo classical rakugo.

The image above was taken on Ginza Gas Lantern Street from Harumi-dori St. side, looking at 4-chome to 1-chome.

"Ginza Brick Street" runs on the left side of this street, and "Chuo-dori" runs on the right side.

The building on the right is Seiko House Ginza, formerly Wako.

Here on the Ginza Gas Lantern Street side, Seiko House Ginza has an employee entrance.

If you go around the famous front side, Chuo-dori side ...

You can see the famous clock tower that Seiko House Ginza is familiar to you.

The dial of the clock on the Ginza 4-chome intersection side has changed a little. That's not all the dials.

The dial is Disney Mickey Mouse, isn't it?

As you can see in the article of Satsuki's Koi Blower on October 29, it seems to be the 100th anniversary of Disney's founding.

It is lit up at night, and it looks still beautiful.

You can see the dial of Mickey Mouse until November 18th (Sat) of this month, and if you want to see it, go to Ginza as soon as possible.

By the way, November 18th is the birthday of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Mickey and Minnie made their film debut on this day of 1928, so that's right.

The Seiko House Ginza 1F show window, which also faces the Ginza 4-chome intersection, is also decorated with a black-and-white Mickey Mouse large clock.

・・I've been taking a long stop from the beginning. Original purpose: We will return to Ginza Gas Lantern Street.

At the 3rd place, a signboard with the street name as shown in the opening image is embedded at the feet.

And the explanation board in the image above is attached to the pedestal of the gas lamp.

And the above information boards and explanation boards are also installed in Sakai with 2-chome.

The contents of the explanation board are as follows. (I also wrote it in the article on January 14, 2021, which was shown at the beginning.)

Gas lamps in Ginza

The first gas lamps were laid in Japan in 1872 in Yokohama in 1872.

Two years later, in 1874, in 1874, the city of Ginza began to light, and gas lamps were said to be a symbol of Civilization and enlightenment and became a hot topic at the time.

This gas lamps were restored to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Tokyo Gas in 1985.

There are two types of gas lamps standing in Ginza 3-chome, as shown in the image above.

The upper one is the same as other places, and the lower one is unique to 3-chome.

The curtain listed above says, "Welcome to Ginza 3-chome Ginza Gaslight Street" and depicts mountains, trees, buildings and animals.

In 2-chome, the place where the above "3-chome" is written is "2-chome". I will show you the next time.

Ginza 3-5-16, two stores that form a line for lunch, on the left is "Bricktei" and on the right is "Candle shop".

◎ Brick Tei is a famous Western restaurant founded in 1895 and 1895.

"Omurice" "Pork cutlet" ... There seems to be many Western menus born here from brick-tei.

Of course, the taste is excellent, and the popularity is as you can see.

◎ The candle shop is the SHIBIRE NOODLES (Sibile Noodle) candle shop Ginza main store.

It is also included in Kyobashi Edgran.

It is a shop of dandan noodles, but it has become a popular shop since its opening in 2017, and it is a line that is comparable to brick-tei.

As you can see "SHIBIRE", dandan noodles with Chinese pepper (kasho: Hojao) effective, sour hot noodles (Sanratan), Maba noodles (Marbomen), and everyone seems to be addicted.

・・I came to 2nd after finishing 3rd Street. Next time, we will show you "2-chome to 1-chome" in Part 2.

Ginza Gaslight Street is a street that runs diagonally in the center. It is shown by a turquoise-colored line.

This time, the turquoise is rising diagonally to the right from Harumi-dori St. side at the lower left to about half of the line.
