As you all know, Minako Honda debuted at the age of 17, played a leading role in the musical "Miss Saigon" at the age of 25, and since then played a major role in "King and I" and "Le Miserables". However, he developed acute myeloid leukemia in January 2005, and traveled to heaven on November 6.
Even during the fight, Minako did not lose hope, lived brightly and positively, leaving many messages for those suffering from the same leukemia. Following Minako's aspirations, "Minako Honda Memorial Leukemia Eradication Charity LIVE FOR LIFE" was held in March 2006 the following year, and since then support activities for patients with leukemia and intractable diseases have been carried out in various places. I am. In addition, since 2010, "LIVE FOR LIFE - Music Aya -" has been held at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall on November 3 every year.
At this music Aya, great artists from a wide range of genres, from enka ballad to pops, musicals and classical music, are featured as volunteers. Finally, when everyone sang "Amazing Grace", the heart gets warmer and becomes gentler and gentler.

This music Aya is held mainly for the purpose of "expanding support for bone marrow donor registration" to save leukemia patients.
Every year, about 10,000 people develop leukemia, of which at least 2,000 patients need bone marrow transplantation. Unfortunately, since the spread of COVID-19, the number of registered donors has decreased, and it has not recovered yet. We ask that you register as a donor.
Those who can register as donors are as follows.
・Those who fully understand the contents of the provision of bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cells ・ Those who are 18 years old or older, 54 years old or younger and are healthy, weighing more than 45 kg for men / 40 kg for women ※The age at which donors can be provided is over 20 years old and under 55 years old. The consent of the family is required for the provision.
To register as a donor: You can register with 2mL blood collection. It is accepted at blood donation rooms and public health centers. ・If you are considering registering, please read the bone marrow bank brochure “Chance” carefully.
