Remotely navigate the beloved Chuo-ku, rosemary sea.

On November 24 (Thursday), I took a water bus called "Tokyo Mizube Line" operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association.

We boarded from the "Water's Takeshiba" departure / arrival point of the "Asakusa / Odaiba Cruise" course to the "Asakusa Nitenmon" departure / arrival point.

We go back to the Sumida River.

The start of Waters Takeshiba is Minato-ku, and the end Asakusa Nitenmon is Taito-ku, but ...

Most of the route is Chuo-ku. I'm on a cruise in Chuo-ku.

In particular, 9 bridges in Chuo-ku of the Sumida River are the highlights.

I would like to introduce it in four parts, centering on 9 bridges.

In addition, I wanted to attach the title to "Scenery of the border of Chuo-ku one after another", but I gave up because the title has already been long enough.

Click here for "Continue" before one after another.

Here, the next to Waters Takebashi is Takeshiba Pier, and the next to it is Hinode Pier. In the case of "Continue", we departed from Hinode Pier.

Then...

It is a space where you can take a break for free. It seems to put it in the lawn.

It's a very nice place to view, so you can bring lunch and have it here.

This itself is on the Minato-ku side, but the forest on the right side of the image is "Hamarikyu Onshi Garden", Chuo-ku.

Former Hamarikyu Garden (Hamarikyu Garden)

       Hamarikyu Garden 1-1

ー A villa of the Shogun's family with expanded gardens

In the early Edo period, it was a falconry area of the Shogin family, but after the second son of the 3rd Shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu, Tsunashige Matsudaira of Kofu feudal lord, worshiped from the 4th Shogun family and became Shimoyashiki, it was called Kofu Hamayashiki and Kaite Yashiki.

In addition, since Tsunashige's child, Tsunataka became the sixth shogun Ienobu, it became a separate residence of the Shogun family called "Hamagoten".

From the middle to late Edo period, Kamoba and teahouses were developed, and expansion was actively carried out.

After the Meiji Restoration, it became under the jurisdiction of the Imperial Household Ministry and was renamed Hamarikyu, and the Emperor Meiji was often used as a place to play the Imperial Palace, such as frequent Gyoko.

After the war, it was transferred to Tokyo's management and maintenance was carried out, and has been open to the public since 1946.

The characteristics of the daimyo garden of the Edo period still exist in the tide-filled pond (Shioiri), which draws in seawater and forms an aquascape.

In 1952, it was designated as a national special scenic spot and a special historic site as the "Old Hamarikyu Garden".

In addition, "Matsuno Ochiya" was restored in 2010.

Matsuno Ochiya is said to have been created during the era of the 11th Shogun Ienari Tokugawa, and was used as a place for resting and entertaining generals.

As soon as I left, I passed through the sluice gate in the center of the image.

The sluice gates were very low, and all the passengers on the deck of the ship were instructed to take a low posture when passing through.

In that case, of course, it's not a matter of course.

We go up the Sumida River, but from here, the left and right banks are Chuo-ku.

Tsukiji Ohashi, the first bridge of 9 bridges in Chuo-ku, has come to be seen.

The total length is 245m, the width is 32.3m to 48.0m, and it is a Nakaji-style arch bridge for three consecutive years of steel.

The image will be taken from the downstream side. The left bank is Tsukiji 5-chome, and the right bank is Kachidoki 5-chome.

At the end of the left bank is Tsukiji Outer Market.

The lowermost bridge of the Sumida River means that it is the lowermost bridge in Chuo-ku.

It is still a new bridge, and it will be opened in November 2018.

The position of a bridge for relocation to Toyosu Market and a bridge for hosting the Tokyo Olympics is impressive.

The form of Tsukiji Ohashi is very beautiful.

In addition, after crossing Tsukiji Ohashi, the Toei Oedo Line passes under the Sumida River.

In a total of four times, I will explain to the Asakusa Nitenmon departure and arrival place at the top.
