"Nebuta-santa" appears in Tokyo Midtown Yaesu!
Tokyo Midtown Yaesu Christmas event "MIDTOWN YAESU CHRISTMAS (Midtown Yaesu Christmas) 2023" is being held.
Galleria (outdoor open space) on the 1st floor is decorated with a huge "Nebuta Santa". It's about 6m high. The details such as Santa's present, the reindeer behind, and the present tightly placed at the feet are made.
This work was created by two Nebuta masters from Aomori, Ryusei Uchiyama and Ryuho Tateda, based on the picture of illustrator Jessie.
The box of the present also has elaborate designs such as hearts, stars, apples, and Aomori prefecture shapes. There was also a design of Kabuki's Kumatori.
In front of the present at the feet, there is also a large round "Tsugaru Biidoro". "Tsugaru Biidoro" also has a shop on the 2nd floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, a traditional craft of Aomori.
Behind "Nebuta Santa", it shines in gold like "GALLERIA Winter Lights" illuminations and light curtains.
The lamp-shaped square LED lighting is placed on the road surface in the back alley of Galleria. The characters of "TOKYO MIDTOWN YAESU" and the colors of the lighting change to blue, yellow, and green, creating a calm atmosphere.
The event will be held until December 25 (Monday).
"Nebuta Santa" is a recommended event.
