The Sophia Foreign Language Research Association "Boccabrary Contest"

I received a notice from the Sophia Foreign Language Research Association of Japan for the "Boccabrary Contest". The Sophia Foreign Language Research Association is a general social education organization in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, which has been implemented free of charge until recently.

I think it is a great motivation to increase the vocabulary, and I would like to introduce it.

The following is a guide to those who have applied.

>We are pleased to announce that the Sophia Foreign Language Research Association has been carrying out the "Boccabulary Contest" as follows. We hope that you can use it as a motivation to increase the vocabulary.

There are some differences from the previous announcement, so if you would like to participate, please read this announcement carefully until the end and apply for participation only if you agree.

Participation fee: 500 yen for one language or two languages. However, it is free of charge only for the first time.
What to bring: Pencils (or mechanical pens) and erasers with a thickness of HB or higher
Due date: Meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 (punctual)
Venue: Tsukishima Social Education Center (4-1-1 Tsukishima, Chuo-ku), 5th floor, 1st and 2nd Western-style rooms
You can return home by submitting the answer sheet. The correct answer will be published on the association's website by the evening of the contest.

You can select one or two languages from the following three languages.
1. English (40 minutes)
2. Igo (40 minutes)
3. Western language (40 minutes)
This time, "Buddhist language" and "Single language" are closed.

"English" is 100 questions from intermediate to top.
"Igo" and "Western" are 80 questions from beginner to advanced.

The highest scorer will announce the name and score on the site, and will present a 3,000 yen Quocard to the highest scorer in each language.
The minimum number of participants is one in each language, and if there is only one person, it will automatically become the highest scorer and earn prizes.
There is no objection to the scoring results.
We cannot accept requests regarding the operation of the contest.

Application: A total of 48 students. If you wish to participate, please email [email protected] with the following information. (1) to (3) are required.
(1) Name
(2) Select language (Please select one or two languages from English, I, and Western.)
(3) TEL
(4) The first participant is described as "First Participation".
(5) Address to receive the winning prize if you win (the description is optional, but if not, it will be considered that you have declined to receive the winning prize).
In principle, receipts will not be issued.

We will reply regardless of whether participation is possible (in the unlikely event that there is no reply after 48 hours, the e-mail may not have been sent to the secretariat, so please send the e-mail again). You can also reserve e-mails from your mobile phone, but please make settings that can be received from PC. You can also apply by postcard.

If the contest cannot be held due to unavoidable circumstances, we will endeavor to inform you as soon as possible, but we will not be liable for damages. However, if the event is canceled, if there is an offer, on the day of the event.
We will mail you the questions and correct answers that were scheduled to be held free of charge. In the case of cancellation, we will notify you by e-mail in principle, so if there is a change in your e-mail address, please let us know at that time.

If you wish to stop the distribution of the "Boccabrary Contest" notification in the future, we will stop the distribution if you let us know.
