There are general sports centers, playgrounds, campsites, children's amusement parks, etc., and it is also a place for residents to relax.

From November to December, the yellow leaves of the row of ginkgo trees that line the street in front of the park are beautiful, and you can see cherry and zelkova autumn leaves in the park.

Kiyomasa Koji Temple is located next to Hamacho Park. Kiyomasa Koji Temple was founded in 1861 (1861) by Hosokawa feudal lord Narimori Hosokawa, calling for the spirit of Kato Kiyomasa, enshrined at Honmyoji Temple in Kumamoto, in Shimoyashiki.

After the Meiji Restoration, it became Kato Shrine temporarily, returned to the Buddhist ceremony in 1885, renamed Kiyomasa Kodo, entrusted its management to Kumamoto Honmyoji Temple, and became Honmyoji Betsuin.
