The appearance of a giant crayfish crab in Nihonbashi
I've heard that the red crab is the largest crab in the world. Perhaps because of that knowledge, when I looked up in the direction of Nihonbashi from the vicinity of Nihonbashi Post Office, when I caught something like a flashy long red and white legs, I was associated with Takashi crab. However, the huge cranes lit up in the night sky are impressive and are not something you can see here.

The redevelopment project in this area was started in September 2021 and is in progress toward completion in December 2025. Until now, the sober work of dismantling the existing building had continued, but iron structures have finally been assembled up to the fifth floor of the building. This is still only a small part of the whole, and a new cityscape will emerge. Conversely, it is a must-see because it is only in the present that such a large space exists in Nihonbashi.
