Ningyocho, when you go down the stairs, the world of Showa
Movie preview room Creative food bar Mikazukiza
Exit 8 of Suitengumae Station and walk to the right for a 1 minute on Ningyocho-dori, you will see a nostalgic movie poster. If you look under the stairs of the building, it is described as "Base KOM". "Maybe it's a movie theater, but I can't find a ticket office and what is it?" You may pass by with a mark.
Base KOM is a preview room for film and digital movies.
Even though Base KOM is a preview room, it is a venue equipped with a full-fledged 35mm projector and a large screen run by Kanji Kashiwara, a scriptwriter who was former chairman of the Scenario Writers Association.
There are 25 seats. Here, free previews of the Film Study Group are held irregularly, and are used for completion previews of young directors and previews by judges of major film festivals. It is also used for events such as concerts.
The members of the study group are scenario writers and actors under the guidance of the representative. It is said that outsiders can participate, so movie fans should contact the shop.

The second floor of the building is a creative food bar called Mikazukiza, which offers alcohol and meals at a concentric price centering around 600 to 1000 yen. I recommend 1,000 yen omtacosalsa.
There are many movie posters in the store. Posters will be replaced at any time according to the genre and theme.
Currently, (December 2023), it is rare in Ningyocho until 5:00 in the morning.
