"Ginza Rule" dresses up buildings in Ginza
The first application is the Ginza Shiseido Building
In the Kyobashi and Nihonbashi neighborhoods, the height of buildings exceeds 170m, and a skyscraper of 225m and even 340m is about to be born. However, when you enter the adjacent Ginza, the situation changes completely, and middle-rise buildings of the same height line up. High-rise buildings should be suitable for efficiently collecting investment in places with high land prices, but not in the Ginza area.
The other day, at a lecture held at the Book Forest Chuo Chuo-ku Library, the Ginza district limits the height of the building to 56M (66M including rooftop works) (commonly known as Ginza Rule) I heard that there is.
It seems that the first application of the Ginza rule is the Ginza Shiseido Building.
It seems that this rule is convenient for brand shops around the world. The Ginza store is usually the flagship store in Asia under that brand. That's why I want to create a shop full of originality that emphasizes the brand image. To do that, I want to design not only in front of the shop but also in the whole building.
It can be said that it is a rich brand, and the whole skyscrapers cannot be used. However, in the middle layer, you can use the entire surface to get your own color. In addition, the sense of competition with other brands works, and the buildings in Ginza become more beautiful.
The day of the corona disaster, when people disappeared from shopping streets in Japan. Ginza was no exception. Still, the brand shop was fine. Among them, Louis Vuitton and Hermes did not lose sales. People who couldn't visit overseas shops came to Ginza. And now, the brand shop is in good condition. It seems that some shops have increased sales by 1.5 times compared to before Corona.
The "Ginza Rule", which limits the height to 56m, has an unexpected effect. The photos of the brand shop listed are just a few. How about visiting the Ginza brand shop? ... Oh, it's just the appearance! Be careful when inviting women (laughs)
