Materials
Drip coffee
Whipped cream
Powdered sugar with strawberry powder
White marshmallow
Chocolate pen
How to make it
①Using a chocolate pen, draw Minato-chan's eyes and mouth on a white marshmallow and prepare it.
②We make pale pink whipped cream like the Christmas tree of this year's St. Luke Garden.
When making from fresh cream, first mix an appropriate amount of powdered sugar with strawberry powder and whipped together. Similarly, when using commercial whipped cream, mix an appropriate amount of powdered sugar with strawberry powder. Let's cool the finished whipped cream in the refrigerator.
③Brew drip coffee.
④Put plenty of whipped cream you just made on a hot coffee.
⑤I will look at marshmallows depicting Minato kid's face.
⑥It's finished with Christmas decorations as an accent!
♪Christmas tree in St. Luke Garden
At the entrance on the first floor of St. Luke Garden, a Christmas tree is displayed every year to delight visitors. This year's Christmas tree is decorated with pink-based lighting and decorations.
By the way, Akashicho, where St. Luke's Garden is located, was the place where Tsukiji foreign settlement was located in 1868. And it is Akashicho that Christmas was celebrated for the first time in Japan.
In 1874, a Christmas party was held by Karo Sols and Taneaki Hara at B6 Girls' School, which is just right on the banks of the Sumida River. Julia Karo Sols opened A6 Women's School in 1870.
Taneaki Hara is a student of Julia Karo Sols, who opened Jujiya, the first Christ book publisher in Japan, at Ginza 3-chome, and also opened Hara Girls' School.
Thanks for being baptized at the Tokyo First Elder Church, I came up with the idea of holding a Christmas party. I was dressed as Santa Claus and delighted everyone. It was Santa Claus wearing a kimono and hakama.
The decoration of rooms such as Japanese lantern and Christmas trees was carried out by young people of Shintomiza. It's a neighborhood, isn't it?
By the way, what I was called at the Christmas party on this day was Henry Falls, who lives at the same 18th Tsukiji foreign settlement, who was famous for fingerprint research, and now opened a pharmacy called Rakuzendo in Ginza 2-chome. The businessman, Ginka Kishida, Fulbek on Green, Sen Tsuda, etc.
It was a handmade, heartfelt Christmas.
・・・ ・ From Akashicho Riverside Park in winter, I see the area where A6 Girls' School and B6 Girls' School were lined up. There is a signpost on the residence street. You can see the Minato in front, the Sumida River in the right, and the cross of St. Luke Chapel on the left. ・・・
