Ginza in Ginza

The other day I went on a trip to Nara and Kyoto. I was planning to visit Kashihara-jingu Shrine, but I decided to go to see Fushimi Castle in a hurry due to a railway accident. Take a walk in history by searching for famous places and historic sites in Fushimi with a smartphone. If you like history, you may know, but it is a city with a long history. I found a stone monument of "Fushimi Ginza Ruins" near the Keihan Main Line / Fushimi Momoyama Station, Kintetsu / Momoyama Goryo. It is Ginza before Chuo-ku / Ginza. (Refer to Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia, October 1, 2017 version) I stood quietly and overlooked it once.

Fushimi is famous in sake brewery, but there was Hatago Teradaya, which became famous during the late Tokugawa shogunate turmoil. I walked a little from the "Ginza Ruins", but it was well preserved. There was also a statue of Sakamoto Ryoma in the courtyard. Ryoma died in "Oomiya", but he was attacked here.
