Kyobashi Edgran's event "SHOKUIKI", where you can taste Kyobashi's "food" in a "smart" manner. The theme this time is "Edo Vegetables". Vegetables that have been eaten since the Edo period are offered on the original menu.
The first was "Sukiyaki using Edo vegetables" from "private room Kaiseki Kitaoji Kyobashi Tea Dormitory". The second one is a cocktail made from Edo vegetables. From January 29 (Mon) to February 29 (Thu), 2024, original cocktails will be offered at "LOBBY LOUNGE Tokyo HIBIYA BAR (Hibiya Bar)" on the 3rd floor of the Kyobashi Edgran South Building.

I have participated in a tasting party to determine the cocktail to be offered at the event.
Hibiya Bar is a full-fledged bar, but it has a bright and open atmosphere that makes it easy for women to enter. I'm glad that it's open from the daytime, but it's difficult to go out at night while raising children!
Mr. Nakayama, the manager of the store, made the cocktail. The appearance of swinging the shaker is beautiful and impressive.

There are two kinds of candidate cocktails.

The first is "EDO beautiful woman".
It is an original cocktail inspired by white white and red cheek red, which are symbols of Edo beauty. Based on gin, yuzuliqueur, and kointroo, "Myoga" of Edo vegetables is added!
Shake the shaker with a slightly larger chopped ginger, and you will see a slightly pinkish white cocktail!
Miyoga is also called "Japanese Ginger" in English, and the refreshing feeling like ginger matches with citrus yuzuliqueur, a refreshing taste. There are quite a few alcohol levels, so a firm punch is effective.
Somehow, rather than "Edo beautiful woman = woman of the Edo period", it was "a refreshing and strong core" reminiscent of a career woman working in modern Tokyo.

The other is "EDO Alexander".
An original cocktail made by adding Edo vegetable "Ginger" to the classic cocktail "Alexander". "Alexander" is a cocktail made with cacao liqueur and cream.
I imagined a taste like a sweet carria, but since the cacao liqueur is not so sweet, it is a rich but refreshing cocktail.
And ginger and cacao go well. The spicy ginger taste enhanced the flavor of cacao.
It is also fashionable to be offered in a separate type unique glass!
