I want to be an Edo kid

Let's go! "Nihonbashi Minamizumemori Symography"

The "Kidai Shoran" picture scroll depicting the liveliness of Nihonbashi Kitazume in the Edo period, about 220 years ago, is beautifully displayed on the underground concourse wall of Mitsukoshimae Station on the Ginza Line.

"Nihonbashi Minamizume Seizanno Map" depicts the cityscape of Nihonbashi Minamizume, which has been developed as a commercial city by Akira Yamaguchi, one of Japan's leading painters, who supervised the original drawings and production, and has been developed as a commercial city, from "Edo" to "modern". This work condensed and expresses the transition of Nihonbashi Minamizume, and you can see the city as if you were traveling back and forth between the past and the present.

Underground construction of the Nihonbashi section of the Metropolitan Expressway started, and by around 2040, if you imagine that the blue sky will return over Nihonbashi, hope for the future will come up. And by all means, I would like to see the Kirin statue in the central bridge light of Nihonbashi, which was once created to express the prosperity of Tokyo City, shining divinely in the sunshine.
