The pleasure of walking around the city

The pleasure of walking around the city

There are many ways to enjoy walking around the city!
One of them,
Find the remnants of the old days!
I'm most happy about this.
In particular, the joy of discovering things that most people don't look at, is irreplaceable.
Well, it's just a world of self-satisfaction.

The first photo shows traces of the embankment of the former Tsukuda River on the south side of Tsukuda Sanchome Children's Amusement Park.
Recreates the scenery of Tsukuda once in the children's amusement park? It's done.

One more thing.
It is a trace that I found nearby.
(I explained more than 5 years ago during the guide training, but this time I was finally able to listen to the people involved.)

The pleasure of walking around the city

I think some people do not understand well with one photo, so I will explain it briefly.

Do you know that the two steel frames extend from the left to the center of the foreground factory?
This steel frame used to extend to the right.
As a rail for unloading cranes.
Why was it cut off on the way?
Because the old Tsukuda River was reclaimed and turned into a road.
(The Yurakucho Line runs underground.)

In the past, along the Harumi Canal in Shin-Tsukuda was like a hill, and a pine forest was overgrown on it.

I wanted to see it~
