Footprint of Dr. Chuta Ito
I had the opportunity to travel to Kyoto the other day, and although it was raining a little, I went out to visit Kashihara-jingu Shrine in Nara. It's just during the spring festival. When I asked the priest here, the whole was designed by Dr. Chuta Ito, who designed Tsukiji Honganji, and was founded in 1890 (1890). He was also involved in the design of the Meiji-jingu Shrine, and the atmosphere of the precincts was very similar. I felt majestic.
The next day, I went to Heian Shrine to see the cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms in Ukon are in full bloom. After investigating at Wikipedia, this was also designed by Dr. Chuta Ito. I was surprised. It was a trip that touched my doctor's footprints in unexpected places. Heian Shrine was founded in 1895 (1895)
