Today, I would like to introduce "Saruya" Nihonbashi, a long-established toothpick that has been around since the Edo period.

`It's like a toothpick. The true toothpick is a masterpiece, as shown in the "Saruya" pumplet, black toothpick is characterized by its refreshing scent with elasticity, and the scent that comes out of the nose when you receive fresh sweets etc. draws more sweets (^^).♪

In the first place, toothpicks were also used as toothbrushes during the Edo period, and were called "bo toothpicks".

There seemed to be a lot of shops selling these daily necessities at that time, and during the cultural year there were about 250 toothpick shops in Asakusa.

"Yanagiya Oto" is one of the three beautiful women of Meiwa. This Yanagiya was also a toothpick shop in Asakusa.

The shop with a beautiful signboard girl would have been crowded.
