「BIG CAT BANG」at GINZA SIX

In the huge blowing space of GINZA SIX, works that always feel a new breeze are on display, but now "BIG CAT BANG" by giant sculpture master and contemporary artist Kenji Yanobe is flying in the air.

Janobe Kenji is one of Japan's leading contemporary artists, known for his mechanical sculptures and huge sculptures that combine social messages and uniqueness.

This time, the large atrium space in the center of the GINZA SIX building is regarded as a galaxy including the earth, and countless space cats fly in the sky, and the floating spacecraft is a homage to the Tower of the Sun. Kenji Yanobe, who inherited the original genes of Taro Okamoto, spun the dynamism of the universe from the Big Bang to the present as a story of a new life.

The SHIP’S CAT series is on display in the corridor surrounding the atrium space on the 4th floor.

In addition, the spacecraft "LUCA" flying in the atrium space imitates the "Tower of the Sun", and with the cooperation of the Taro Okamoto Memorial Hall, the "Tower of the Sun (a prototype model of 1/50)" is also exhibited.
