Tsukiji Honganji Temple Visit Card for May 2024

I was invited to Tsukiji Honganji Temple by the refreshing breeze and went to visit.

This month's worship card is "impermanent".

What is the difference?

I often hear, but I don't understand it clearly.

On the back of the worship card, the following is written.

The impermanence is one of the words that describe the truth of Buddhism that everything is changing.

We tend to have a feeling of refusing to change, such as wanting to remain as it is now or not lose what we have now.

Historical Buddha was told that his obsession caused suffering.

You may be able to take a step forward by leaving our hearts and accepting changes.

May issue of Tsukiji Honganji Shimpo

This month's issue has a special article entitled "Be fascinated by Shinran Saints."

The article introduces more than 1,000 Kinjiro Ninomiya, Kukaijin, and Nichiren Shonin, and describes how many Shinran saints are nationwide. I read it very interestingly.

I can't write in detail because there is a possibility of copyright infringement.

By all means, please pick up the Honganji Shimpo and read it, or visit the Tsukiji Honganji website.
