I feel like hiking! Historical mountains around Chuo-ku

Hello. I'm Hanes, an active correspondent.
Around this time, I've already missed the time when I went to the mountains like every weekend after the Treran tournament.
The mountains that can be reached on a day trip from Tokyo take at least about an hour and a half to two hours one way from Chuo-ku, and if you live in Chuo-ku, you can't say that the mountains are familiar.
However, did you know that there are actually mountains in Chuo-ku?

Where is the mountain?...

Yes, Hamarikyu Onshi Garden, famous as the garden of the Tokugawa Shogunate!
If you look at the garden guide, you can see the five mountains (To be precise, "artificial hill"), Mt.
In particular, from Kuchiyama, a new gutter near the sluice gate facing Tokyo Bay, you can overlook the coastal subcenter such as Rainbow Bridge and Odaiba.
The altitude is about a few meters, but it is recommended because you can unexpectedly enjoy the scenery.♪

In addition, the book "Tokyo Machinaka Ultra Low Mountain-Climbing 100 Climbing 100 Cities in the City" (picture, Mitsuo Nakamura), which introduces nearby and fun mountains in the city center, Hamarikyu Miyama (Miteiyama, Fujimiyama, Shinhi no Kuchiyama), as well as the gunpowder Fuji (Fujizuka) of Teppozu Inari Shrine.

It's not a high mountain that you can visit for mountain climbing, but there was also a mountain in Chuo-ku.♪

And there is another artificial hill in Tsukiji.
It's surprisingly in the old Tsukiji market.
To see the mountain, go to the Odawara ridge of Tsukiji Fish Bank, a store facility that sells marine products and fruits and vegetables.

At the end of the aisle, there is a rooftop plaza where you can enjoy BBQ with fresh seafood, from which you can overlook the site of the market.
As trucks move back and forth toward redevelopment, which has become increasingly seen and heard in the news recently, you can see a forest-like place left in a part of the site.

This place, which can be seen in the shape you want now, is the birthplace of the Navy with a monument engraved with "Hagiyama".
In 1872, the artificial hill in the garden, where the Ministry of Navy was set up on the site of Yuonen, a lower house of Sadanobu Matsudaira, and the naval flag was displayed, was called Hagiyama.

This time, we introduced five artificial hill in Hamarikyu Onshi Gardens as mountains in Chuo-ku, Fujizuka of Teppozu Inari Shrine, and the flag mountain of the former Tsukiji Market.
Coincidentally, it is all located close to the Sumida River and Tokyo Bay, and sometimes offers a unique view of the city, and is popular as a mountain that can be seen from buildings and condominiums at the moment.
In May, when the fresh green is beautiful, it may be fun to go around the mountains in Chuo-ku with the feeling of hiking.
