A collaboration project between the sweets club and the mandarin orange club at Mie Terrace
"Mikan Daifuku" is very popular in Ise, which appeared in Nihonbashi.
"Akafuku Ice" was delicious!
Mie Terrace Sweets Club collaborated with Mikanbe for the first time.
Knowing that the work was "Mikan Daifuku", I participated with a lot of excitement that I could do what Daifuku could do.
In addition, karamandarin, a specialty of Mie Prefecture, is used.
Making the first mandarin orange daifuku
Mandarin oranges were big, so I made a big mandarin orange Daifuku. It is difficult to peel the mandarin oranges and wrap them around them with thin white bean paste.
In addition, wrapping a thin fertilizer on a white bean completely increased the difficulty and struggled hard.
It was too big, so I broke it with a thread and split it. I was delighted to receive the mandarin orange Daifuku that I made myself.
And the representative sweets in summer are shaved ice. "Akafuku Ice" with Mie's famous sweets Akafuku was available at Mie Terrace. Once a year, I was able to enjoy the sweets of Ise that can be eaten in Tokyo and shaved ice unique to Akafuku.

〇 Karamandarin Kakiuchi Farm (Mihama-cho) https://www.kakiuchinouen.com/
(Early April to mid-May) It is a hybrid of Wenzhou mandarin orange and Kingman Dallin. Rich orange and Wenzhou mandarin orange are mixed to have a sweet and rich taste. A gem of oyster farm boasting.
It seems that they harvest and ship fruits that are particular about ripe on the tree.
〇 Shiraan Ise Seikan (Ise City) https://iseseian.jp/
Founded in 1924, it is a long-established specialty of Anko. Uses subsoil water of the clear stream Miyakawa from Tokachi red beans from Hokkaido. It is characterized by a refreshing taste without leaving sweetness.
〇 (Tsu City) http://www.oyakiya.jp/
It is famous for its long-established famous confection "Star on the Earth" founded in 1865.
It seems that they use plenty of ingredients specially produced in Mie Prefecture.
The ingredients were also carefully selected.
When I cut the finished mandarin orange Daifuku sideways, the cross section is beautiful, but I cut it vertically and ate it.
The caramanderine was juicy, and when I put it in my mouth, I felt the illusion of drinking juice.
The fertilizer, which wraps the sweetness of white bean, melts in the mouth, and karamandarin juice
It was delicious because it was entangled.
Thanks to joining the sweets section of Mie Terrace, I was able to have a happy experience of enjoying Daifuku that I made.
There is only an expression that is perfect for the collaboration between Akafuku and Matcha.
Koshi bean paste and rice cake in fluffy shaved ice with elegant sweetness of matcha nectar!
It seems that it is specially made for Akafuku ice so that it can be soft even when combined with ice.
Because of the elasticity of the mochi, the texture of the bean paste and ice intertwined in the mouth was outstanding.
In a word that it was delicious, the satisfaction was also Max.
Ideally, when you go to Ise, it is ideal to have "Akafuku Ice" at Akafuku in Yokocho, thanks to stop by.
However, following last year, it was held once a year at Mie Terrace in Nihonbashi, Tokyo from 2024.7./20 to 7/22.
It was open at 10 o'clock, but there was a line.
I strongly asked Mie Terrace to come next year. In addition, I would like to request it every year.
Please check the Mie Terrace website https://mie-terrace.jp/ next year and enjoy the "Akafuku Ice" held in July.
