On May 26, the Tokyo Fire Department's “Water Fire Fighting Pageant” was held at Harumi Wharf Park, where firefighting boats were discharged and helicopter rescue training were conducted.

A week ago, the Tokyo Minato Festival, which was previously held in Harumi, was held at the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal, where I learned about the first firefighting pageant of water in five years. It used to be held together with Tokyo Minato matsuri, but this is still done in Harumi, Chuo-ku, which has a deep connection. The beginning of the water firefighting was a fire boat located at the Kyobashi Fire Station Tsukiji Branch Office in 1936. On the day, I took the Edo bus that stretched to Harumi Wharf Park, but the bus was full on the way. The venue was already crowded with a large audience.
The curtain opened with the performance of the Tokyo Fire Department Music Band and the performance of the Color Gars Corps.
It was quite powerful, such as water discharge of fire boats and rescue training from helicopters.
I was spinning around like a top while discharging water.
The training was to rescue passengers who jumped into the sea from a fire-prone houseboat. The helicopter hovering in the low sky is powerful.
The finale with a five-color simultaneous water discharge. It was an hour.
At the venue, a town opening event in the west district of Harumi 5-chome was also held.
On the park stage at the venue, after the pageant, a town ceremony was held in the west district of Harumi 5-chome, where wadaiko performed. "Koshiichi Taiko" is a wadaiko club that is active in the old town name Echizen Hajime Hori-chome in Shinkawa 2-chome, and I heard the sound of drums often at Takahashi over the Kamejima River. At the opening of the newly born city, there is a place where you can feel a little about the drum performance of the lost town name.
