A collection of sweets of the early summer feature "Ayu" ~ Ningyocho edition ~
Hello, I've been a little bit.
It gets hotter day by day, the humidity is getting higher, and I feel the approaching summer today ...
From around June, sweets of "Ayu" are lined up at many Japanese confectionery stores.
These sweets are often sold under the names such as "Wakayu", "Toriyu", and "Wakkayu".
It is made of a castella-like dough wrapped in gyuhi and baked with the face of ayu.
Every year, I'm attracted to the seasonal feeling that makes me feel early summer and the cute sweetfish face, and I collect and walk around "ayu" from various shops.
This time, I would like to introduce three types of "Ayu" that can be purchased in the Ningyocho area.
Part 1 'Katsura Ayu' by 'Judo'
The first thing I would like to introduce is "Katsura Year Fish" by "Juya" along Ningyocho-dori St.
Speaking of Juya, "Golden Potato" is famous, but in addition to that, we also have seasonal sweets.
One of them is 'Katsura year fish.' It is said that it is read as "Katsura Ayu" in this kanji.
It is a naming that reminds me of Katsuragawa in Kyoto because there is only Judo of "Kyogashiji".
The bamboo leaf-shaped sheet packed together gives you a refreshing feeling.

Okay, what's going on inside?
It's a bit painful, but I cut the sweetfish in the middle and looked at the cross section.
Mr. Judo's "Katsura Year Fish" is made in the composition of a royal road, which is wrapped in a fluffy castella dough with a mochi-mochi fertilizer.
*Sales period
Until around July, there is a high possibility that "Katsura Year Fish" will be placed.
*Location of the shop

Part 2 "Ayu" of "Mihara Domoto Store"
Next, I would like to introduce "Ayu" by "Mihara Domoto Store" at the corner of the Suitengumae intersection.
Compared to Judo's "Katsura Year Fish" mentioned earlier, you can see that the curve of the Ayu's body and the Dy Tyr depicted are slightly different.
It is one of the pleasures of "Ayu" collection to see the difference in design by the store.
*Contents
Let's look at the inside in the same way.
It may be difficult to understand in the photo, but I think you can see the mixture of green grains in the fertilizer contents.
Actually, this is blue. This is the biggest feature of "Ayu" by Mihara Domoto store.
I was surprised when I first ate it, but this blue glue gives a very good flavor because it is not easy for Japanese sweets to contain blue glue.
*Sales period
During the summer, until mid-August, there is a high possibility that Ayu will be placed.

Part 3 "Climbing sweetfish" by "Shigemori Eishindo"
Finally, I would like to introduce "Climbing Ayu" from "Shigemori Eishindo" opposite Ningyocho-dori St. from Mihara Domoto store.
Speaking of Shigemori Eishindo, Ningyocho specialties such as "Shigemori's doll ware" and "Zeitaku Senbei" are famous.
Actually, this time, "Katsura New Fish" and "Ayu" have been researched in advance, and I was planning to make an article introducing these two, but after stopping at Mihara Domoto store, I looked at Shigemori Eishindo's storefront, and found the word "Climbing Ayu" there.…! I decided to buy it right away.
Shigemori Eishindo's "Climbing Ayu" does not have a baked pattern unlike "Katsura New Year Fish" and "Ayu", but the shape of Ayu is expressed in the shade.
*Contents
Looking at the contents, it is not fertilizer, but it is full of white bean paste.
Actually, unlike this "climbing sweetfish" and general sweetfish sweets, it is a variation of doll ware.
At Shigemori Eishindo, in addition to Koshian's "Doll Yaki", there is a lineup of Tsubuan's "Tsuboyaki", Shiraan's "Climbing Ayu", and "Castella ware" without Anne. It was one of them.
*Sales period
As mentioned above, it is a variation of doll ware, so it is not positioned as a seasonal snack, but it is sold throughout the year.
