The radiance of hope for the oasis in Ginza
There is a space named [Ginza Oasis] in the upper space of the Hibiya Line between the Ginza Line and the Marunouchi Line on the Tokyo Metro (subway). It was developed in 1994 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Ginza Station. This year will be the 90th anniversary after 30 years. It can be said that it is a station that has a variety of history.
When this space was completed, this art work was symbolically displayed. "Paradise" was designed by painter Ikuo Hirayama. It is an ambitious stained glass work based on bright red colors that are rare for teachers so that the city of Tokyo becomes a town full of hope.
For the 100th anniversary of Ginza Station, you will continue to watch the bright future of passengers.
