At the Paula Museum Annex, 1-chome on Ginza Street, an exhibition of "Opera de Paris" is being held until July 28th.
When you enter the museum, the scent of the Paris Opera is drifting, and a lot of splendid photographs are displayed.
Even if you look at the photos alone, I don't understand well, so I received a wonderful leaflet introducing OPÉRA de PARIS.
(We also received permission to post on the correspondent blog.)

The leaflet we received was accompanied by the following explanation.
"Keiichi Tahara photographed the Paris Opera over eight years from 1987 at the request of the French government.
In 1995, the legendary photo book "OPÉRA de PARIS" in Japan was completed.
The majestic and beautiful photo book woven in all four volumes of "Architecture", "Coume", "Treasure", and "Stage Model" was praised as Tahara's unique expression. In this exhibition, about 30 carefully selected photographs from about 550 works will be exhibited, and you can also see images created by Tahara based on the photo book in his later years.
Compliments received

The leaflet contains the following great compliments.
"There is everything here. All of the symbols suggested by the opera. The trajectory of memory."
"The elegance of Tahara's photograph is the guide thread of Ariadone, a piece of cloth called the Opera, which transcends beauty and is woven with genealogy, heritage, traditions and relics."
"Yes, it's a truly beautiful work."
Jean Luck Maeso (former Director of the Opera Comic Theater)
