Reprint of ivy curry! Mr. Hatchobori Ratino

17 years ago, there was a very popular curry shop in Nihonbashi Muromachi.

The name is "Indian-style Carry Rice" (the name of the store)

At that time, when there were no choledo or mandarin, a Western-style building standing in the office district as if it had slipped back in time to the Taisho era. What you can taste in the building entangled with ivy is the specialty "Indian-style Carry Rice (one choice)"

It was originally called "Tsuta Curry" after its appearance.

"Tsuta curry", which has many fans even today, was a really amazing shop when I thought about it now.

・As soon as you enter the shop, you don't have to order, and curry for the number of people will be carried!
・It's so spicy! It's spicy!
・I'm shy!
・The water is put in the yakan and put in it!
・Put powdered cheese vigorously in spiciness measures!
・Vegetables are Goron!
・Choose the menu!
・There is a sign called "Coffee" at the store, but I've never seen anyone drinking coffee!
・I don't know at all where this is India-style! !

Stores like that (the above explanation is given with respect)

What is it? 。 。 。
It was definitely loved by people in Nihonbashi from the bottom of my heart.
Every day, during lunchtime, a large number of office workers formed a line in search of a cup of curry.
(If you have been in Nihonbashi since then, you will definitely be able to understand it. 。 。)

↓ In 2009, the ivy curry shop before it was closed and dismantled (a prime location along Chuo-dori, opposite the current Cored Muromachi 3).
I don't think it's incredible for those who only know Muromachi today, but until the 2000s, there were many shops full of individuality in Muromachi.

It is an ivy curry that remains in the memories of such people.
Actually, there is a store that offers the reproduction curry.
It is a shop called "Latino" in Hatchobori.
I've been interviewing on SNS other than myself in the past, so I received a great response. For this reason, I became a correspondent this time, so I went to the interview again.

You can eat a reprint of that India-style Carry Rice!
You can return to your youth only when you are eating curry with this Latino.
In the Nihonbashi area, if you teach friends who know the time, most people come to eat (laughs).

That's a great attempt.

During this busy time, I would like to visit you.
I've tasted the reprint of ivy curry in front of Mitsukoshi.

Excellent reproducibility! The memories of that day come back!

First of all, Mr. Latino is usually a very nice curry shop.
I think there are other famous curry shops in this neighborhood, but it's a good restaurant that's not close to them at all.

I think that it is a shop that can be recommended normally for those who like spicy curry because they think without ivy curry.

Well, let's return the story to this interview.
This time, a reprint of the ivy curry in front of Mitsukoshi!
I come to eat several times a year, but every time I feel excited.

First of all, I'm glad to see that there are still many people who love that ivy curry.
Even in 2024, we ordered curry on this day while biting the joy of eating ivy curry.

Latino's ivy curry (This time, I ordered a dry, dry @ 1,200 yen)

This is amazing, I think it was quite researched, the reproducibility is quite high.
In particular, that stimulation that pierces when you carry the first bite into your mouth!
It was exactly the same as when the adrenaline blew out at once and the spirit of studying at a vocational school in the afternoon.

It feels like this potato is in it.
This is the ivy curry
It is that legendary curry that contains gorogoro.

The reproducibility here is perfect
This potato is used to rest the spicy curry chopsticks.
It's like an oasis in the desert!

The meat is also in the same way.

Basically, concentrate on curry in the first half
In the second half of the game, with the help of resting chopsticks on potatoes, meat and carrots.
It's my traditional style to finish curry.

Let's take a break until we finish the meal.

I usually love rice
If you wear a spicy curry, you are no longer an opponent.

This kind of curry becomes spicy in the long-term game.
The short-term decisive battle is a common practice, all at once!

・・... managed to finish the meal this time, it was a feast! ! !

After finishing the meal, we asked the master, Mr. Murakami, a little story.

After all, Tsuta Curry, which was famous and had many fans in Nihonbashi Muromachi, was so famous that no one knew it.
It seems that people who listen to rumors and come in search of recreated ivy curry from afar are endless.

"I understand, I really understand. 。 I nodded involuntarily.

One day after Latino started offering recreated ivy curry
It is said that the son of the master of the original Tsuta Curry in Muromachi happened to visit Ratino and eat the reproduced curry.
When I hear such an episode, I'm happy.

India-style Carry Rice was closed in 2007, but Tsuta Curry definitely continues to live in our memories. I'm really grateful to Mr. Latino for giving me a chance to remember such a thing.

If you know the time, I hope Latino will come and visit us.
Recommended for those who don't know the time, I hope you can know that there was a curry shop like this in Muromachi. Of course, it is also a very recommended restaurant as an ordinary curry restaurant, so I hope you could add it to one of the lunch options.
