The word "ko" means a gathering of believers, that is, Ebisu-ko is a gathering of believers who believe in Ebisu-sama. The significance of the Ebisu-ko is to hope for the prosperity of business, which is the benefit of Ebisu.
Therefore, it is an event that was widely held among Edo merchants who want to make a lot of fortune.

The schedule is often held twice a year or once a year in Kanto on October 20 and January 20. In general, October is more popular (the reason is that the harvest time is near)

Specifically, it is said that a merchant worshiped Ebisu-sama and invited relatives and acquaintances to invite them.
