It seems that this Hamacho Park was originally a lower house of the Hosokawa family, the lord of Higo, and in 1861, Narimori Hosokawa, feudal lord, recommended the spirit of Kato Kiyomasa, enshrined in Honmyoji Temple in Kumamoto.

Another ward private folk cultural property is the only Fujizuka in the ward on the precincts. It uses lava from Mount Fuji, and subsidiary shrine Fuji Asama Shrine sits on the top.
Built in 1790 and gained popularity, it was drawn larger than main hall in the Edo Famous Zoukai and Hiroshige Utagawa's Picture Book Edo Souvenir, and it seems to have boasted considerable dignity at that time.

Tsukiji Honganji Temple was built as a separate temple of Nishi Honganji Temple. The building is made of Indian stone, but the main hall is made of Momoyama style. A typical example of the Momoyama style is Nikko Toshogu Shrine. It is a gorgeous and elaborate style with a lot of gold and lacquer in decoration.
