We have been working for a long time on what will happen to the site of the Tsukiji Wholesale Market, but finally the prospective business was decided to be a union of 11 companies such as Mitsui Fudosan, Toyota and Yomiuri, and a big project for creating a new town Starts. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of town will be completed on a vast site of about 190,000 square kilometers.
However, the vacant lot is still being removed, and some remaining facilities are being removed. The road connection from Tsukiji Ohashi to Shin-ohashi-dori St. has been almost completed, and a smooth flow of cars can be seen.
If you look over the entire site, it's certainly large. The building in the distance looks small. I can't keep up with the idea that multi-purpose stadiums and various facilities will eventually be lined up here.
