Burarirai Burari in Nihonbashi Library

Nihonbashi Library opened on December 1, 1909 (Meiji 42) at Joto Hirone Elementary School in Tokyo, and this year is 115 years old. In commemoration of this, the Nihonbashi Library is holding a special exhibition "Burarirai Burari" from Friday, August 23 to October 23 (Fri).

The photo above is the whole picture of the venue. This exhibition introduces the library in Chuo-ku and introduces the library along the railway that passes through the nearest stations Ningyocho Station and Suitengu Station.

In the photo above, the basic information (opening hours, closed days, number of seats, etc.) of the four Chuo-ku libraries, including the 115-year history of the Nihonbashi Library and the Harumi Library, which opened newly on July 1, 2024, and the number of collections and characteristics are explained in an easy-to-understand manner.

In the corner of the Burarirai Burari in the photo above, several libraries located along the Hanzomon Line, Asakusa Line, and Hibiya Line, which pass through the nearest stations Ningyocho Station and Suitengu Station are introduced one by one.
