It is under construction in Nihonbashi! What is the tallest building in Chuo-ku?
In the Nihonbashi, Yaesu and Kyobashi areas, construction rushes for high-rise buildings continue.
The other day, when I crossed Nihonbashi, I looked up and found that the skyscrapers under construction in Minami-Hashizume in Nihonbashi suddenly rose in the last few months, so I took pictures unintentionally.
Although it is difficult to understand the height in the photo, the height is clearer than the Nihonbashi below, the capital height above it, and the Nihonbashi Nomura Building.
The white building on the next Colled Nihonbashi (Nihonbashi 1-chome Building) was 120.8m high, so it was far beyond this.
284 meters tallest in Chuo-ku
This building is called "Nihonbashi 1-chome Middle District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project C Block", but the name of the building itself seems to have not been decided. Construction will begin in 2020 and is scheduled to be completed in 2026. It is 284m tallest in Chuo-ku and is a new landmark in the Nihonbashi area.
284m can be read as "Ni (2) hon, ba (8), shi (4)" so it is easy to remember. .
The photo below shows the expected completion of the building on the fence wall of the construction site.
Comparing the height of buildings in Chuo-ku
Currently, the tallest building in Chuo-ku is the Central Tower in Midtown Yaesu, which was built in 2022, but in the Nihonbashi and Yaesu areas, high-rise buildings with more than 200 meters are scheduled to be built one after another. I checked the height of the new building.
In the future, the height ranking of high-rise buildings in Chuo-ku will be as follows.
I think that the high-rise building at Nihonbashi 1-chome under construction is currently about half the height of the plan.
It will be even higher from now on, so when you come to Nihonbashi, look up at the building and feel the height.
