portable shrine passes through Kofunecho Tennogi Nihonbashi!
On September 15 (Sun), a large portable shrine at Tenno in Kofunemachi started on Nihonbashi Bridge, proceeded along Chuo-dori to Mitsukoshi-mae, turned right at Muromachi 2-chome, and headed from Edo-dori St. to Kofune-cho.
This route is part of the former Edo period, which was held as the third Edo festival alongside the Sanno Festival and the Kanda festival.
Although it was a hot day, Chuo-dori became a whirlpool of heat with the addition of the power of the carryer of the large mikoshi.
It is a large portable shrine enshrined in Kariya of Horidome Children's Park.
It is a magnificent large portable shrine with a very large phoenix enshrined on the roof, and is a gem made in the early Showa era.
There are floats and four god flags in Kariya.
All of them are valuable festivals of cultural properties.
