Have you seen Yabusame!
『OH！ As part of the Edo Tokyo Festival, I went to see Yabusame demonstrations held at Horidome Children's Park on the 19th and 20th, both of which were more than I had imagined. I'm very impressed.
The first time from 12:30 on the 19th, Amon Miyamoto, the general producer of the festival, came to greet him.
Yabusame usually shoots three targets between about 218m, but there is no place in Chuo-ku that can be taken so far, and this time it is about 80m, one target. I think both the shooter and the horse were hard.
Even under such harsh conditions, clean hits continue. Everyone has been trained for over 10 years, and I realized once again the beauty of the costumes and the splendor of Japanese culture. There were a lot of foreigners. It was the first time that Yabusame was held in Chuo-ku, but it seems that there was a great deal of trouble until the event was held again. I would like to thank everyone who was involved. I'd like to see Yabusame again next year.
Various other cultural experiences will continue until November 3rd.
