Artiston Museum of Art
When it suddenly cooled down, I fell in love with people and was attracted to the title "Drawing People", so I visited the Artizon Museum in Kyobashi.
Currently, three exhibitions are being held at the same time. If you pay the admission fee, you can enjoy all three.
The first step up to the 6th floor is "Jam Session Ishibashi Foundation Collection x Yuko Mohri". "Jam Session" is a collaboration between the foundation's collection and artists, which has been held every year since 2020, and this time it co-stars with the work of Yuko Mohri, who is attracting attention in the international art scene. The title of this exhibition is "On physis". "Pesis" is a Greek word translated as "nature" or "naturalness". There were many works with sound and movement, and it was very unique to enjoy the fresh feeling of opening new perceptions.
The 5th floor is "Drawing People". It is a collection of portraits, portraits, and self-portraits from the Foundation collection, and I felt the warmth of human beings while enjoying the richness of personality expression.
On the 4th floor, 81 works from the foundation collection were introduced, and as a special corner exhibition, many Matisse's works were exhibited, entitled "Matisse's Atelier". We were able to see George Sora's "Hirasoko Boat", which was first released as a new collection, and Matisse's "dancing girl and Rocaille Elbow Chair, Black Background".
And to a bright and pop shop. A nice next year's calendar was also on sale.
The event will be held until February 9, 2025. Please enjoy the autumn of art in Kyobashi.
