On November 13, last year, we introduced the 4th Hiromi Nagasawa Exhibition here.

This is the second generation of "Nagasawa Yuno Store" in Fukuoka City.

The bold colors and design are attracting attention overseas.

In addition, the wine bottle, the bottle ribbon of Mizuhiki, and the commercialization from the idea of this decoration made Mr. Nagasawa famous at once.

In addition, the image at the beginning is Nagasawa's Hakata Mizuhiki "Ryubi: Not for sale)" and a special Mizuhiki with silver foil. It is a work that combines luxurious but elegant. We are.

 

This time, Yumiko Fukahori and Miki Miyajima (Miki Miyajima) also participated.

Both are master's students of Hakata Origami Machine Skills (Hakataori Tagi no Ushushi).

They came to the venue on the first day of July 17, so we interviewed them.

 

This time, we also took care of Mr. Morikoshi, manager of Kiya Nihonbashi Main Store Kaneko.

What is Hakata-ori?

What is Hakata Ori? "Hakata's Iki Mizuhiki and Hakata Ori" held ~ Nihonbashi Kiya Main Store izutuki ~

A silk fabric made by powerfully driving a thick yoko thread (Mr. Fukahori's explanation is that 13 pieces will be compiled) that combines thin threads into a lot of freshly made threads.

It is designated as a traditional craft of the country.

Features are "supple but durable."

 

The latter half of the 15th century is considered the origin of Hakata weaving.

During the Edo period, Hakata Ori was selected by the Kuroda clan as a gift to the Shogunate.

At that time, the Tokko Hanazara pattern was called the "donation pattern" and became known throughout the country.

 

In recent years, Zensaburo Ogawa and his son, Norisaburo Ogawa, have become living national treasures as Hakata Ori.

Hakata Ori celebrates its 777th anniversary last year.

 

The above image shows a hand-woven Hakata-ori eight-inch long obi "five offerings and lights" width 315mm 151,200 yen.

It is a dish with five rows of offering patterns, a traditional pattern of Hakata weaving.

The white line on the left and the thick one in the center is the "filial pattern".

It's a pattern where the child cares for his parents.

The ocher-colored line is "flower dish pattern".

I'm drawing a flower plate of Buddhist utensils.

The dark blue pattern on both sides of the flower plate pattern is hard to see, but "Tokko pattern", which is also a pattern of Buddhist utensils.

The white line on the right and the thick one on both sides are "parent-child pattern".

It's a pattern where parents protect their children.

 

The image below shows the hand-woven Hakata-ori eight-inch long obi "Ippon Tokko / White" on the right, and the left is "Ippon Tokko / Blue".

Both are 315mm wide and 205,200 yen.

One Tokko is a traditional Hakata-ori pattern, which is made by weaving a pattern similar to Tokko on the ground.
