Enjoy the New Year's Harumi, Tsukishima and Tsukuda
Happy new year.
Because of the good weather, I went for a walk in Chuo-ku.
From Shimbashi Station, we took the Tokyo BRT "Athlete Village Route" and walked north from Harumi Wharf Park along the Asashio Canal. It is a mystery that there are four pedestrian-only bridges such as Asashio Kobashi, Reimei Kobashi, Triton Bridge, and Sakura Kobashi in a narrow area of the canal. If you look at the skyscrapers towering around this area where the railway station is only Kachidoki Station, you can realize the importance of a bridge that can be moved on foot.
Enjoy monjayaki on Nishinaka-dori, love the scenery of the Tsukuda area, and cross the Chuo-ohashi Bridge to Ningyocho Station. I sweated about 13,000 steps of walking. Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine was crowded with people from new year worshipping. It was a peaceful day.
