Swallows of summer birds raising children in Ginza
Bird observation in Chuo-ku has also been in the summer of the fourth year. There are 44 types of wild birds I have met in the last four years, and I am surprised at the number.
However, if it is limited to summer birds, the environment in the city is harsh, or only one type of swallow. Summer bird swallows coming to Japan for raising children from Southeast Asia are also decreasing year by year due to the decrease in fields in the suburbs and the demolition of buildings that make nests. Meanwhile, the swallows of Ginza Matsuya (four nests) are well-known as "Ginza Swallows", but in fact, swallows are raising children in another place (three nests). Of course, it's Ginza.
Five chicks were born over a few days this week. I carry food every 5 minutes. Ginza has street trees, parks around the area, and honeybees in Ginza, so it seems that there is abundant food.
I'm eager to take pictures with cute chicks. However, swallows build nests under the eaves, so they will visit private land to observe them. Thank you very much for your understanding.
It's another nest. This is 3 birds. Since I was born last week, I have a great appetite. It's like a nest in the city, on a security camera.
Swallow chicks grow up in the city by the warm people around you.
This time, I learned that an organization called Bird Research, an NPO, is promoting the Ginza Swallow Project.
In Matsuya this year, a nest of population was attached (one out of four), and the chicks also nested because of the value.
Please look for the swallows gliding through Ginza. Beyond that, cute chicks are waiting for you.
