Water transportation in Chuo-ku is attractive!

In Chuo-ku, digging and canals were used to be stretched, and a sight called Venice in the East was spreading.
It is a bit lonely that a lot of water flows have been reclaimed to secure post-war blocks and build expressways, but there are still some waterways such as the Sumida River and Nihonbashi River. Heals your eyes.

From late July to early August, Tokyo conducted a demonstration experiment of "boat trip commuting" in Chuo-ku, led by Tokyo. This is a simulation for considering the diversification of commuting feet in the future. It is indeed certain that Chuo-ku will be chosen as a field.

I actually took a course of over 30 minutes from Harumi's "Daimeibashi Pier" to "Nihonbashi Pier". It is a great pleasure to be able to see the streets of the city from the water. With this, you may be able to enjoy commuting every day.

The demonstration experiment will be over for a while, but there are still many water buses for sightseeing, so if you haven't got on yet, please try it once. You will notice the charm of a new city.
We look forward to the development of the history of water in Chuo-ku in the future.
