Noryo Eco Bon Odori
The essential elements for realizing a recycling-oriented society are reduction, reuse, and recycling.
In the Edo period, it is often referred to as a recycling society. We thoroughly utilized limited resources such as Setomonoyaki, casting, replacement of Japanese lantern, used clothes, and ash purchase.
At "Chanoyu", broken vessels were repaired with gold and revived, making them beautiful and sometimes even higher.
I find a number of values in one thing. Wisdom has created a lot of wealth.
In modern mass production and mass consumption, the increasing amount of waste is a problem.
Approximately 20 tons of garbage were discharged during the four days of the Tsukiji Honganji Nyo Bon Dance Festival, many of which were disposable containers for providing food and drink.
This year, we will introduce reused tableware and work to reduce and reduce disposable container waste.
It will be an opportunity to think about SDGs and environmental issues.
In order to achieve the common goals of the international community, I would like to value the good culture of Japan, the lifestyle and mind of "valuing things" since the Edo period.
