September 5 (Thursday)

   Lecturer: Mr. Yoshihiro Tamada, Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Laboratory

   Participation fee: 5,000 yen (with lunch and sake and souvenirs)

Sake rice, the most important raw material along with water for sake brewing.

The sake rice has a great influence on the quality of sake.

In order to make the ideal rice, Hakutsuru Sake Brewery created its own sake rice "Hakutsuru Nishiki" with the same parents as "Yamada Nishiki", the king of sake rice.

In this seminar, you will see plenty of valuable stories that you cannot usually hear, such as the secret story of the development of "Hakuzuru Nishiki", which has grown to have different strengths from the brother Yamada Nishiki.

   Lecturer: Dr. Naoko Kawagoe, a culinary researcher

   Participation fee: 5,000 yen (with cooking & sake and souvenirs)

   Time 18:45~20:15

   Application deadline: Sunday, September 1

This is a cooking demonstration seminar where you can participate empty-handed. A cooking seminar in which a cooking researcher / good sake teacher Naoko Kawagoe is invited as a lecturer.

This time, you can learn a little addition to canned food and a variety of tidbits, which is easy but delicious just by catching it in a microwave oven, through instructor demonstrations.

This seminar is recommended not only for women but also for men who do not usually cook.

In addition, the dishes made by the teacher can be actually served with sake.

This is a seminar where you can taste freshly squeezed sake made in Ginza using the original cultivated sake rice "Hakutsurunishiki" cultivated on the roof of the Tokyo branch office building of Hakutsuru Sake Brewery in Ginza.

You can learn the basic knowledge of sake brewing while actually observing the fermentation process of moromi (moromi).

In addition, you can also visit the "Hakuzuru Ginza Tenku Farm", a rice field on the roof of the Shiratsuru Ginza Building, which is open to the public.
