Do you feel like U.K.? Recommendation of the Asashio Canal

Hello. I'm an active correspondent, Hanes.
Recently, I've been cycling in the Tsukuda, Tsukishima, Kachidoki and Harumi areas and the Toyosu area in Koto-ku next door.
When you introduce yourself, when you say, "One of your hobbies is cycling" or "I sometimes run more than 150 km a day", it is often said that "I'm active regardless of appearance" is one of the reasons why I became an active correspondent.

By the way, the other day, I introduced a secret night view spot in THE TOKYO TOWERS, but since then, the scenery around the Asashio Canal and Harumi Canal has become my boom.
For a while, I didn't know why I could get so crazy, but I finally understood the other day.
It's a bit like the scenery along the canal of the U.K. (favourite country)!

So, this time, I would like to introduce the surroundings of the morning tide canal.♪

Asashio Canal Water Park

The first thing I would like to introduce is the Asashio Canal Water Park, which opened at the end of 2013.
It features a view space overlooking the canal and an eco-friendly space that considers the ecosystem♪
I usually use streets and bridges where bicycles can pass, so this is the first time I have used this Shinsui-Koen Park!
Sumida River Terrace is a park with a very calm atmosphere without any users.

And when I look at the morning tide canal, I sometimes see something jumping on the surface of the water.
It has not been photographed yet due to an instant event, but when I first searched on the Internet, it seems that gobys are often inhabited around here.
So, it may be a jab.

And the scenery of modern buildings along this canal (Tokyo Metropolitan Harumi Sogo High School, Tokyo Metropolitan University of Law) and ships feels somewhat British.

Comparison with British canals

Try comparing it to the two photos below.
The height, density, and width of the canal vary, but are they similar to the scenery taken along the canal in U.K.?

Looking at such a landscape, you can reconfirm that one of the attractions of Chuo-ku is that you can enjoy the culture of various countries while staying in the city.
(Personally, I think the other attraction is that you can enjoy a wide range of eras from the history before the birth of mankind to cutting-edge technology, and that despite the city center, the waterside environment and nature are rich.)

It is a little far from Ginza and Nihonbashi, but please stop by when you visit Harumi at concerts or Tsukishima for sightseeing.♪
