TOKYO GRAND TEA CEREMONY 2019
On October 19th (Sat) and 20th (Sun), "Tokyo Daichakai 2019" is being held at Hamarikyu Onshi Garden.
The Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony was launched in 2008 by Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Arts Council Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, in order to widely disseminate Japanese traditional culture both domestically and internationally, and to pass on the underlying "heart of Japanese" to the next generation.
Various tea ceremony schools meet together, full-fledged tea ceremonies (Nakajima's Ochiya / Houmetei), Nodo (2 seats around Fujimiyama), Nodo (around Fujimiyama), Nodo (around Fujimiyama), high school students Nodo (around Fujimiyama), Nodo (around Fujimiyama), Nodo (around Fujimiyama), Nodote (around Hanakien), WELCOME! In English, and other events where you can enjoy a variety of tea ceremony.
There are also traditional culture experience booths such as Japanese calligraphy, Edo fingertips, kimono dressing experience, and Japanese accessories workshops. On the special stage, performances such as flower arrangement, shakuhachi x guitar, Japanese x contemporary dance, Tsugaru shamisen x human beat box are held.
