The Fall of 2019 ... at Kiyosu Bridge

From the bustling Betara city (October 19th and 20th), I traveled around Ningyocho-dori-Shin-ohashi-dori St.-Kiyosumi-dori, and came to Kiyosumi-bashi in about 20 minutes. The Tama River from Futakotamagawa Station on the Denentoshi Line headed to Suitengu Station was full of water volume and speed, but the Sumida River protected by Super dike is more than usual.

Until March 18, 2020, Kiyosumi Bridge is undergoing landscape lighting work (construction information board). The flower bed on the terrace is cared by Hanamori, and seasonal flowers decorate the riverside.…Today, Kibana cosmos is in full bloom. The scenery of walking on the Sumida River terrace changes every season and every moment.

On the grounds of Kiyosumi Bridge to Cheongju Street and Tornale Nihonbashihamacho, Inari Shrine "Hamacho Shrine" (rebuilt in 1953), which has been enshrined in this area since the Edo period. In this precinct, there is "Toei Shrine" built in 1969.…(enshrined deity) is made of Sumiyoshi, the god of earth (shrine hall), which appears in Japanese mythology, and Tokoname-yaki shrine (pedestal) is decorated with pottery pieces excavated from ancient kilns in Heian, Kamakura and early Edo period.
