Ginza is a government office that manufactures and inspects silver coins during the Edo period.
Originally, Ginza in Edo was placed in the current Ginza 2-chome in 1612.
Due to fraud, it was abolished, and it was restarted here at Ningyocho 1-chome.
Since the place name at that time was Kakigara-cho, people called Kakigara Ginza.
It lasted for 69 years until the new government Mint was established in 1869 (1869).

The father ran a print printing shop, but sold it due to poor management.
Since the family business was not easy, he received financial assistance from his relatives and went to Tokyo Imperial University, but was unable to pay tuition fees and dropped out.
